A Deeper Remembrance Beyond Reason

Something powerful and lasting I took away from my near-death experience (NDE) was the profound realization that nothing is ever wrong. Truly, ever. I touched upon this revelation in the previous post, Contrast – The Teacher in Disguise, but there's more—a deeper understanding of reason.
I came to understand that everything "just is," yes, but specifically and lovingly tailored “for you.” Every experience, every challenge, every joy, and every interruption in the plans you thought were so carefully laid out—none of these occurrences are random, none are mistakes. In fact, nothing happens without purpose. There are no coincidences, only threads of meaning woven intricately into the fabric of your existence by a divine hand. This divine presence, the very essence of Love itself, orchestrates it all.
Yet, this love isn't the sentimental or conditional love we know so well in this material world. It's a deeper, almost indescribable love, more encompassing—a divine intelligence operating beyond our everyday comprehension, carrying purpose and meaning even in its most disguised form.
The Mind vs. The Heart
The modern world places a premium on the intellect. Our minds are continuously nourished, or perhaps overstimulated, with information—updates, data, news, notifications—all to satisfy an unending thirst for knowledge and certainty. The moment we face uncertainty, anxiety takes hold, and we quickly seek solace in instant information, believing the right answers will soothe our restless minds.
However, this form of knowledge rarely brings healing; instead, it perpetuates distraction, feeding the ego's endless hunger for control. It keeps us trapped in superficial understanding, away from true depth.
The heart, on the other hand, speaks an entirely different language. It does not concern itself with incessant questions of "why" and "how." It simply whispers, "Trust." It encourages presence, urging gently, "Be here,” “just be.” It conveys wisdom without words, communicating through an intuitive knowing that defies the intellect and ego.
When you begin aligning your attention from the intellect to the heart, an extraordinary realization unfolds. You discover that trust and surrender are what grant real peace, not endless explanations or further information. It is the heart that knows, even when the mind doesn't.
Nothing is Random
If you embrace the idea that, through my death, I encountered God—and recognize that this divine presence surrounds you constantly—then you must also acknowledge that nothing can be truly accidental. Not the moments of pain, not the unexpected losses, not the sudden shifts that seem to disrupt your carefully planned journey. Each event, each experience, is written purposefully into the larger script of your spiritual reason for being here.
You might never fully grasp the reasons behind life's complexities, and perhaps you're not meant to. The intricate details of this divine choreography remain beyond our intellectual grasp because they are designed to invite trust and faith rather than demand comprehension. Resisting life's circumstances equates to resisting the very path lovingly laid out for your return home.
Freedom Despite Knowledge
What if true freedom was not rooted in accumulating more answers but in cultivating fewer questions? Can you find peace even when you don't know what tomorrow holds? Can you surrender your need to understand every twist and turn, every outcome that your intellect craves so deeply?
Surrender isn't giving up—it's a profound act of alignment. It means rising above the ego's insistence on control, transcending your perceived need to manage or fix everything that seems "wrong" in life. In surrender, the resistance that burdens your spirit dissolves. Not because your outer circumstances suddenly become ideal, but because your inner self has shifted toward acceptance and trust.
As this surrender deepens, something beautiful happens: your awareness gently returns to the present moment. The awareness that is the real you.
The Unwrapped Present
For the awakened heart, each moment arrives as an unwrapped present, ready to be experienced fully and without judgment. Not every moment is comfortable, yet every moment is meaningful, rich with hidden purpose waiting to be recognized.
The divine plan does not reside in memories of your past nor in the imagined future—it's unfolding right here, right now, in the ordinary yet miraculous details of your daily life. It waits quietly within the present moment, humming softly with intelligence and beauty.
When you engage fully with the present, contrast softens into compassion. Anxiety fades into awareness. You stop asking, "Why did this happen?" and begin whispering, "Thank you," with heartfelt sincerity.
Invitation to Reflection
Can you recall a moment when something you initially resisted later revealed itself as purposeful? Take a few moments to sit with that memory—allow it to guide you gently toward deeper trust.
For now, you clearly see the truth once more: everything just is. And it always was—lovingly, purposefully, and precisely—for you.
