Orbs of Light

For those ready to see.Â

I recently returned from a trip to Los Angeles, where I gave a talk. And once again, remarkably, they were there. In the hotel room the night before. In the car on the way. And in the room where I spoke. One of them appearing just above a woman's head as she asked me a question about her spiritual path.
A basketball sized point of divine bluish-white light that brightened, held, and then was simply gone by the time anyone else could look. I don't often mention these visits in the moment that it happens. If I do, it is usually only to my significant other, or close friends. I just let them be where they are, when they are, regardless if I am speaking or doing something else.
Most likely you haven't encountered something like this before. The description may sound strange, or like something easily explained away, a trick of the light, a reflection, a camera artifact. I understand that instinct. But these aren't balls of light seen in photographs of your favorite family member. These are active, living, manifestations of divinity, and they are not all the same size — some are small, some quite large, sometimes even the size of houses. They appear as they desire.
I have written about this presence before, in "Do You See What I See," where I described what these orbs of light look like in more detail, the pulsing, the movement, the psychic sense of contact that doesn't have to be visual at all but can also just be something closer to being known and or felt.
That blog post was an attempt to describe something that I had recognized in the sky from the other side in the earliest days after my near-death experience. It has now been over three years. And what I am here to tell you is that my experiences with this presence have not faded, or become ordinary, or resolved into something that can be justified through any definition. In fact, it has done the opposite. It is escalating in my life in a way that words fail to capture.
Not only are they appearing to me more now, a lot more, but they have also now guided me to step forward and share more with you.
To give you an idea, they show up in rooms with me. They show up as I speak. Not randomly, but often as punctuation to some of the material I share from death. Sometimes I will be teaching, sharing something about spirituality, describing an experience, and there they are, showing themselves in a way that underlines the sentence. As if affirming it. It happens most often in the moments that carry the most weight, the more recent and more sacred experiences as well as when I refer to who I am and what I am here to do.
It isn't limited to a room or a stage. When I am at the ocean, they are with me. In the mountains, in the middle of a city, driving on a highway with nothing spiritual on my mind at all, they are there.
I have come to experience them most, when I am intertwined with nature. Something about the quiet of it seems to open the door wider.
I have stopped trying to count the number of times this has happened. It is uncountable now. And what I can tell you, after years of this continuously deepening relationship, is what it consistently is: A divine presence. A form of communication. Unconditional love. It holds a balance of something steady and ordered underneath it.
This presence offers me guidance continuously. It offers me grace. And every time, whether in daylight or in the dark of night, it tends to arrive in a similar context: when I am helping others find the love in which they are and when they appear to remind me of who I am and what I am here to do.
I want to be clear here, because it would be easy to make this sound like it is about lights in the sky, and it was never about that. The orbs themselves are not the point. They are a doorway to something far larger. A presence that is love, manifest, appearing in a form simple enough to notice and mysterious enough to keep you looking at it. They/it is here to help.
I have begun to introduce others to this presence. Quietly, I have started pointing toward what is already in the room, and in the sky, and I will be doing more of this going forward as I am guided to.
Here is what "It" has recently communicated to me: It is time to step forward, in a much more public way, to help others see and understand this presence. Not just orbs, but what is beyond it.
This is not to replace the work I am already doing, but to stand alongside it, and intertwine with it to show you how this is all connected to what I have shared to date.
I will be showing this presence in a way the world has not yet seen. Not from a distance, but bringing people directly into contact with what I experience and what lives within me.
I don't expect this to land the same way for everyone, and I don't think it's meant to. Some individuals will meet this type of experience with fear. That is a natural response to anything that pushes past the edge of what feels explainable, and I won't pretend otherwise or try to talk anyone out of it.
Others will feel something closer to recognition, even love, as if a door they always sensed was there has finally been pointed out to them. Both responses are honest, and I don't believe this is for everybody. I was shown that much. What I do know is that this is part of a larger change moving through the world right now, and my stepping forward is part of that change.
The escalation of my experiences over the last few months has been less about an interesting increase and more about preparation. We are at a fork in the road, arriving the way this divine presence tends to arrive, quietly, then all at once.
It is always with me. I have come to trust that as much as I trust anything. And if part of what is coming is that I get to help more people recognize what has been surrounding them all along — not as something foreign or frightening, but as love, wearing a form simple enough to notice — then that is a role I am willing to do.
Are you ready to see?
